The Goal: Document the extraordinary journey of a married couple attempting to climb all of the routes made famous by the book, "Fifty Classic Climbs of North America". This never-been-done-before adventure will take Mark & Janelle Smiley up +150K vertical feet of rock, ice, and glaciated technical terrain from New Mexico to Alaska.
Follow Mark & Janelle Smiley's journey by visiting these social media pages, then look back here for some amazing photos, chances to join an adventure, and tips to climb safer, faster and stronger.
Here is an interactive Google Map of the routes we have completed, along with a little beta for those interested in climbing the route.
