Chile Ski Mountaineering

Skiing Chilean Volcanoes can be compared to the volcanoes in the Washington and Oregon, only better. Better because it is an exotic location, higher max elevations, unique scenery, and a really fun group of people.
The theme during this expedition is "go where the snow is best." Our set itinerary is Plan A. But as skiers who love good snow, we will have the flexibility to adjust the plan in order to maximize fun and snow quality.
Once in Santiago, we are only a short drive away from the first objective. With our private rental 4x4 trucks we will cruise down the road, hunting for the best possible objectives to ski. This seek and find style is really exciting, and you will see and experience parts of Chile that few get to enjoy.
This trip will be led by IFMGA Certified Mountain Guides, Mark Smiley and Jed Porter.
